Weekly #Writing #Goals

This week I'll be finishing up the outline for Book 1 and beginning Book 2 of my Assassin Fantasy Romance series. Since I'll also be doing the 30 Day Marketing Challenge, I have cut back on my the amount of writing I'm doing each week, but I'll still be getting quite a bit done.

Weekly #Writing #Goals

Last week went well as far as writing is concerned. It's one of the best weeks I've had in a while. I've even started a new project where I'm writing about my 30 step writing process. I've had a lot of people ask me about it, so I figured it's time. :)

This week I'm continuing my work on the outline for the Assassin Fantasy Romance series. I'm doing two scenes a day at the moment and I'm about halfway through the first book, so I'm getting there! :-D

Last week was a bad week for writing. Because of my autoimmune disease, I sometimes have bad pain days, where my joints end up inflamed. Most of last week was one long pain day. So this week, I'll mainly be focusing on getting caught up and working more on the outline for the Assassin Fantasy Romance.

This weekend was a bit crazy. My computer stopped working properly so I ended up having to reformat my computer. Then I couldn't connect to the internet. Took me three hours to sort out that problem. Then the to-do list I use to do my scheduling stopped working, and I had to download a new one. So then I spent a whole day fixing up my schedule again.

On the plus side, I'm going to be working on my Assassin Fantasy Romance again. This week, I'll be continuing with outlining the first book in the story.

• Paranormal Romance Novel Series: Continue working on developing the characters and put the story events in order
• Paranormal Romance Short Story: Continue working on the outline

This week's writing goals:

• Assassin Romantic Fantasy Series: I've actually finished everything I needed to do with this one for the month, so I'll be focusing on the other two for now.
• Paranormal Romance Novel Series: Plotting the character motivations and character transformations for the two main characters in the story.
• Paranormal Romance Short Story: Creating a timeline, drawing a crude map to work from, and starting the outline.

• Paranormal Romance Short Story: Finish planning out the scenes

Since I'm just getting started, I thought it would be a good idea to keep my (potential) readers up to date on my progress. So every Monday, I'm going to post my writing progress and goals for the week.

Here are my goals for this week:

• Assassin Romantic Fantasy Novel: I've actually already finished the character planning for the main characters for this, so this week I'll be determining approximately how long the story will be and deciding if I will break it up into separate books. Then I'll be adding in the subplots.
• Paranormal Romance Short Story: This week I'll be finishing up with the character planning and filling in any holes in the story.

I don't have a projected date of release for either stories at this point, but as soon as I know I'll fill you in!
